Fashion list

I was thinking of what to write about a new fashion event or talk about some new it-items or creating a fashion list. I chose the last.
These are just some things I like right now ;)
LETS START!

1. Zara studio skirt with frill


 Zara London out in the windows of the store was this skirt, which I caught my eye on. hahah I wanted to go buy it but the reason I didnt was because I was in the car in traffic being late to a meeting. Oh well, but still loves it. The types of skirts are IN this season. If you have seen Marc Jacobs' collection there is a skirt like that. 


2.  Acne white sleeveless blouse


   I wear this blouse all the time. It matches almost everything. Especially if you are wearing a short sleeved dress or sweater and you don't want that white sleeve to look out-this is the right thing to wear. Right now a collar under a sweater is very stylish. So get your cards out this is not the end of the list.


3.  Hermes silk scarves


 Lately I got really into these small scarves, which I can tie and make my look be seen as more colorful and interesting. My first choice on these silk scarves is Hemes. The brand has so many of them, all with beautiful pictures on them. 

    
These scarves can be worn in many ways. Hermes even made small cards (which you can ask for in the store) where it shows how to wear your scarf. Grace Kelly often tied them around her neck as that Parisian styled girl. But it can suit you as a headband, bandana, top ...
      



















4. Lanvin jewelry
Plain dresses and these chunky jewelry match well. I am looking for different pieces in Lanvin and other brands to wear for my New Years outfit. They are great because a little black dress can seem too plain by itself, but when you add this piece, it is like the dress becomes alive again. I chose Lanvin because they have a huge collection of these necklaces and bracelets.





5. BCBG rings


Ahhh love these and so do all my friends. They match everything literally! I have only one ring, but I've worn it soo much

More Versace for H&M















Versace for H&M


H&M second time (as I know of) has united with another brand! Before it was Lanvin for H&M. Now Versace! I feel this is going to be good. I mean the adverts are basically in each magazine, but the full collection you can view online .


It is very colorful with a lot of print ("Versace" style would be the correct word) 

The collection looks great on the adverts, but in real life its even better. Celebrity's have had the chance to be at the opening of the collection. Stars like Blake Lively, Nicki Minaj, Jessica Alba and lots more appeared at the opening in this collection. Each one showed her own way of wearing the clothes. From extravagant Nicki Minaj to classy Uma Thurman, sexy Blake Lively to chic Jessica Alba.

The Devil Wears Prada sunglasses


I first saw them on Kourtney Kardashian and was like who are these glasses by?! Eventually my good friend told me its Prada. I went on their online store and found out that there are several colors. And they turned out to be not that expensive as I thought they would.

The handle of the glasses is very unique and creative. Just love them. You sure have to wear them with your hair up or not hiding the beauty of the glasses. Totally an "it-pair"

Marchesa and Herve Leger - your new "it dress"

16 or 18? Planning to make a huge birthday bash or just a small dinner with your close ones...doesn't matter...But what does matter is what your going to wear, probably a dress right?
I can give you a hint and small preview where to look for the perfect dress.

-Herve Leger ( sexy, by the figure; tight-fitting, gorgeous)

-Marchesa (flawless, luxuriant, beautiful, every dress is very unique and inimitable)

Until now I thought that these dresses were only mini or a bit higher than knee level length. But last night I was chatting with my friend and we were searching for a dress for her 18th b-day. We looked up dress-choices from Herve Leger and Marchesa. So she sent me this beautiful turquoise maxi dress. It was like the Herve Leger "bandage dress" , on the upper part and then there came this long, wavy flowing bottom :D

 You should have seen Marchesa dresses on the red carpet (Oscar, Grammy's..) I watch "the Rachel Zoe Project" ( reality TV show about one of America's best stylists and now even a designer. Rachel Zoe styles famous personas like Anne Hathaway, Eva Longoria, Demi Moore..) and as many who watch the show have seen that Rachel attends many runway shows, such as  "Marchesa" .
When styling a person for the red carpet Rachel often takes Marchesa as one of the choices. 
Lets just call it "Marchesa love" <3

If I would compare these two brands, then I would say "Herve Leger" is more after party and "Marchesa" is totally red carpet glamour.

You are a lover for unique and stylish accessories?


This is totally for you! I found this little piece of jewelry in InStyle magazine. I got really interested and decide to share this with you. This "Light keeper" was originally designed by Adam Shulman for his
girlfriend Anne Hathaway. Now Mr. Shulman has his own brand called : James Banks Design . The brand was named after his grandfather. Sweet right? James Banks Design



The meaning of the necklace is very romantic. And is a very memorable thing for a person. 
You can order it online. It is a bit pricey, but totally worth it. Besides its not some piece of metal, but actually the Bulb of the "Light keeper" is sterling silver with 30 Black diamonds

R.I.P Steve Jobs

This post might not be related to fashion or style, but I just wanted to post this in the memory of a genius person - Steve Jobs.





“Remembering that I’ll be dead soon is the most important tool I’ve ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything — all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure — these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose.”
Steve Jobs was a prodigious orator and inspiration to many. He said the lines above in his 2005 Stanford University speech. Mr. Jobs passed away this Wednesday, October 5th 2011. He may not be with us anymore, but his ideas, creations will live on forever. He is one of those people who changed the world. He is in history.

Today while tweeting and looking through popular tags. I glanced at the #ThankYouSteve tag. These three simple words said it all, Steve Jobs really made a big impact on people.
